Curriculum
Basic Industrial Design
This course aims to teach overall industrial design process through out simple design project. By end of semester, students obtained various design skills so that they are able to conduct advanced design projects in the future.
Material and manufacture structure
This course aims to learn the properties of the materials needed for design shaping and the examples of processing techniques that can be applied to the practical design, and explore the possibility of expressing the materials through practice.
Basic ID
This course aims to develop students' ability to demonstrate the process of design that related to industrial design practice through developing a simple product from idea generation to a specific tangible form.
Human ID
This course cultivates the ability to perform high-end product design projects through product design projects based on human-centered design process.
Smart ID
This course aims to enhance their knowledge of product design, including product design processes and design methods, while improving sketch, rendering, and prototyping skills. They will also have the opportunity to design a product that is applied with smart technology, utilizing the knowledge and skills acquired during the course.
Design portfolio
The course aims to apply design principles in a comprehensive design project. The project is undertaken in consultation with design industry. This is a required course for graduation.
